It's possible to do almost anything with the program, but the main purpose for RM is to make standard j-rpg's. Neither one is impossible, but it's far more practical to build it in the factory than it would be right in your own garage.Īnd this really applies to a lot of things with RPG Maker. But how much harder do you think it'd be to build a car from your own home garage, with the proper equipment that you'll constantly have to research and go out scouting for, than it would be to build one within a factory that is dedicated to making cars, with tools to automate some of the processes, and the equipment you need close at hand? The main problem, as others have said, is that RPG Maker is not optimized for this, and that it generally requires more work than it's worth when other programs are available to do this much more easily.Īnybody can build a car with the right equipment and the know-how. There have been some methods in earlier installments such as in XP. It's never been impossible, just impractical.
